Rosalyn Marie (Timmons) Mccawley

Rosalyn (Timmons) McCawley, age 90 of Oregon, OH, passed away Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born November 9, 1930 in Fremont, OH to Wilmer and Mayme (Hoffman) Timmons. She worked for many years as an RN for Riverside Hospital and then Mercy St. Charles Hospital. Rosalyn cherished the times she had with her loving children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and her many nieces and nephews. She wanted to thank them for the many acts of kindness shown to her throughout the years.

Rosalyn is survived by her children, Roxanne Bailey, Jeffrey McCawley, and Craig (Gail) McCawley; her grandchildren, Jeff McCawley, Monica McCawley, Sarah (Eric) Lajti, Abigail (Tim) Queen, Rachel Bailey, Curtis McCawley, Joshua (Shana) Bailey, Molly (Alanna) McCawley and Hannah (Zac) Hofelich; 20 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and friends. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 49 years, Charles “Tony” McCawley, her parents and 10 siblings.

It is her wish that in lieu of flowers to show an act of kindness to someone you meet along the way. Rosalyn also wanted to thank her wonderful neighbors, Brian and Debbie Shireman, for always looking out for her.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel , 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Monday, May 17, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. with the service held at 1:00 p.m. Rosalyn will be laid to rest at Lake Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions in her name may be made to Ohio Living Home Health and Hospice.
