Rosalie Irene (Persinger) Perkins

July 15, 1936 — October 10, 2016

Rosalie I. Perkins, 80, of Northwood, Ohio passed away on Monday October 10, 2016 at The Manor at Perrysburg surrounded by family. She was born in Black Betsy, WV on July 15, 1936 to Herbert and Hazel (Pringle) Persinger and was a 1954 graduate of Poca High School. In her younger years she worked in the factory at American Lincoln and for 15 years as a cook for Northwood Schools. Rosalie also worked in retail at Rinks, Handy Andy and Cooks Department Store.  She was a gifted cook who loved baking, gardening, reading and puzzles but most of all she cherished time spent with family especially holiday gatherings.

She is survived by her son, Timothy (Lucinda) Perkins; daughter, Pamela (Daniel) Kehlmeier; grandchildren, Tiffany (Alex) Borger, Crystal Glambin and Kenny Glambin; great-granddaughter, Ava Ciboro; siblings, Reba Tucker, Charles (Jackie) Persinger and Helen Jett and father of her children, Lawrence Perkins. Rosalie was preceded in death by her parents; granddaughter, Rachel Ciboro and brothers, Clyde, Robert and Buddy.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Saturday, October 15, 2016 from 10-1 p.m. with the Funeral Service to begin at 1:00 p.m. Entombment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park. The family wishes to thank the staff at The Manor at Perrysburg for their compassion and care shown to Rosalie.
