August 1, 1949 — May 30, 2015

Ronnie Jay “Mogie” Wilczynski, 65, of Erie, MI passed away on Saturday, May 30, 2015 at his home. He was born August 1, 1949 in Toledo, OH to Casper J. and Dolly (Hunt) Wilczynski II. Ronnie served in the U.S. Army, during the Vietnam War. Once home, he worked for the V.A. Clinic on Glendale then started a truck driving career eventually owning his own truck and contracting to Tri State. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing and was a very accomplished Billiards player, wining many tournaments. He will be dearly missed.

Ronnie was preceded in death by his mother and sister, Bonita Wilczynski. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Weills; son, Ronnie Wilczynski; step-children, Dawn (Christopher) Whitaker, Hallie Carter and James (Michelle) Kurek; father, Casper Wilczynski II; 11 grandchildren; siblings, Bonnie Wilczynski, Casper J. Wilczynski III and David Wilczynski, as well as many nieces and nephews and his K-9 companion, Bella.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd. in Oregon on Monday, June, 8 2015 from 10-1 p.m. where funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. Burial will be private. Memorial contributions can be made to the family.
