Ronald Nelson “Silver Fox” Roberts Sr.
Ronald Nelson “Silver Fox” Roberts Sr., 70, of Toledo, passed away on Saturday, May 23, 2015 at Mercy St. Vincent Hospital. He was born January 14, 1945 in Toledo to Ralph and Genevieve (Cici) Roberts. Ronald worked for Jeep for 30 years until retiring. In his spare time, he visited and helped people at the Helping Hands of St. Louis, East Toledo. He was a big football fan, following the Browns and the Buckeye’s. Ronald volunteered time at the East Toledo Biddy Wrestling Club and traveled with his son, Ralph all over the country wrestling. Out of all his accomplishments his family was his greatest and was more than a grandpa, he was also a best friend.
Ronald was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Larry Roberts and Beverly Romph. He is survived by his sons, Ronald N. (Judy) Roberts Jr., Daniel (Jeannie) Roberts and Ralph (Mellanie) Roberts; grandchildren, Dustin, Tyler, Jeffrey, Natalee and Quinton and sister, Marlene Young.
Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Friday, May 29, 2015 from 2 to 8 p.m. where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. the following day. Burial will be private. Memorial contributions can be made to the Helping Hands of St. Louis.
