RONALD STEVEN LEWIS
Ronald S. Lewis, 53, of Toledo, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Friday, March 15, 2013. He was born in Toledo on August 30, 1959 to Robert L. and Nancy L. (Foster) Lewis and was a 1978 graduate of Woodward High School.
For over 30 years, Ron worked with Libbey Glass currently employed in their distribution center as a fork lift operator. He was an avid OSU Buckeye fan and San Francisco 49er fan and loved spending time on the water fishing. He was a loving son, brother, uncle and dear friend who will be dearly missed.
He is survived by his parents; siblings, Robert A., Cheryl (Bob) Shockey, Randall S. (Jill), Lucille (Mark) Bowlick, Jenny and Jodi (Joe) Gordon; nieces and nephews, Tiffany, Christopher, Leigh, Fritz, Tommy, Louciano and Lorenzo; eight great nieces and nephews including his special great-niece Chloe and many dear friends. Ron was preceded in death by his sister, Deborah Lewis Chevalier.
Friends and family may visit from 2-8 p.m. on Tuesday, March 19, 2013 in the Freck Funeral Chapel 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon, OH where the funeral service will begin at 7:00 p.m. Burial will remain private. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider a charity of the donor’s choice.
