Roland Foreman

July 24, 1941 — March 12, 2022

A life well fished, a life well lived. Roland “Joey” Foreman of Oak Harbor, Ohio passed away on March 12, 2022. He was born on July 24, 1941 in Jerusalem Township to Emory Foreman and Beatrice Perry Foreman.

Roland worked for Chrysler for 31 years and was a long-time member of the Cooley Canal Yacht Club and the German American Club (GBU 510).  He enjoyed fishing, hunting, working around his yard, and teasing his grandchildren.

He was proceeded in death by his beloved wife, Carol Jean Juneau Foreman. Roland is survived by his daughter Christine (Toby Swank) and son Brett; grandchildren Alex and Matthew Swank, and Eliza and Alec Foreman.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Saturday, March 19, 2022, from 2-8:00 p.m.  where CCYC will have a service at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, March 20th at noon in the funeral home. A celebration of his life will follow at Jerusalem Township Firehall, 9501 Jerusalem Rd (Rte 2). In lieu of flowers-Rollie would want you to go fish your favorite spot. Memorial contributions can be made to Ducks Unlimited or Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
