Robert P. Steel, II, 23, of Oregon, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 15, 2016 while vacationing in Panama City Beach, FL. He was born on November 23, 1992 in Toledo to Robert Paul and Roxanne (Braatz) Steel. After graduating from Clay High School in 2011, Robert began working as an electrician with Schick Electric. In his spare time, he loved spending time with his family and hanging out with friends smoking Hookah.
Robert is survived by his parents, Robert and Roxanne; siblings, Meagen (Jeff) Watson, Philip Burkart, Ashley Steel, Stacey Steel and Cory Steel; nieces, Taylor Watson and Haylee Conley; grandparents, Linda and Paul Braatz and Clark R. Steel; and aunt, Tracy Lamkins along with numerous cousins.
Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd, Oregon, on Sunday, March 20, 2016 from 2-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Monday in the funeral home at 11 a.m. with the family to receive guests one hour prior. Burial will follow at Lake Twp. Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made directly to the family.
