Robert Henry Quetschke, aged 68, of Toledo, passed away at Arbors of Oregon on Wednesday, May 9, 2012 surrounded by his loving family. Robert was born to Henry and Frances (Marcinek) in Toledo, Ohio on November 20, 1943. He worked as a machinist for Libbey Glass for 49 years. Robert enjoyed coin and stamp collecting, playing billiards, bowling, watching wild birds at Metzgers Marsh and was an avid Steelers, Ohio State and Boston Celtics fan.
Robert is survived by his children: Robert H. Quetschke II, Greg (Christina) Lighty, Keri Kerbler, Clark Timmons, Curt Timmons; many grandchildren; siblings, Linda (Larry) Konopka, Barbara “Cookie” (Steve) Cherry, Daniel (Sherry) Quetschke and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Frances.
Family and friends may visit Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Saturday, May 12, 2012 from 2-8 p.m. where funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Northwood Fire Dept. #1.
