Robert George Moon

Bobby Moon, 72, of Toledo, Ohio passed away on Thursday, August 12, 2021.  He was born on March 8, 1949 in Toledo, Ohio to Earl and Elizabeth Moon.  Bobby was a 1968 graduate of Waite High School.  He worked many years at Libbey Owens Ford and Heck’s Direct Printing and Mailing.  Bobby was a huge sports fan and was often found cheering for his favorite teams, the Cleveland Indians, Cleveland Browns, and the Ohio State Buckeyes.  In his spare time, Bobby enjoyed bowling, golfing, trips to the casino with his girls, and especially attending his grandkids sporting events.  He will be dearly missed.

Bobby is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Sandy; daughters, Amy (Kevin) Rodgers and Tracy (Mikey) Autman; brother, Floyd (Kelly) Moon; grandchildren, Stephanie, DJ, Matthew (Ivan), Mike (Alyssa), Kevin, Mikayla; great-grandchildren, Anthony, Seanna, Aimee, Jaidin, and Ameer.  He is also survived by his sisters and brothers-in-law, Kris (John), Phyllis (Pat), and Steve; and his special friends, Mike (Pam) Burgess, Wade (Tami) Kohn, George (Pam) Edwards, and Joe (Sandi) Ball.  He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Julieann, and brothers, Joe and Tom

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Thursday, August 19, 2021, from 2-7:00 p.m. where services will follow at 7:00 p.m.  Memorial contributions can be made to the family.
