Robert Charles Henderson

Robert Charles Henderson, age 85, of Toledo, OH, passed away Friday, March 22, 2024 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio Toledo Campus. He was born in Toledo, OH on April 6, 1938 to Robert and Betty (Hicks) Henderson. He was a retired Army veteran and loved fishing with his grandchildren. Also in his free time, he loved to spend with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He also worked for Monroe Asphalt and enjoyed the OSU Buckeyes.

Robert is survived by his wife, Mary Henderson; his children, Irene Sperry, Richard (Carey) Henderson, and Sarah Henderson; his siblings; his grandchildren, James Henderson, Michael O. Sperry Jr., Matthew Sperry, Justen Henderson, Mikayla King, Mindy Hughes, and Noah Henderson; his great-grandchildren, Cameron King, Chloe King, Bentley Sperry, Paisley Henderson, Natalie Sperry, Cash King, Lyla Henderson, Savannah Sperry, and Rylee Sperry. He was preceded in death by his parents, his son, James G. Henderson, and his son-in-law, Michael O. Sperry Sr.

Family and friends may visit at the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd., Oregon, OH, on Wednesday, April 3, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. with the funeral service held at 5:00 p.m. Memorial contributions in his name may be made to The Family or Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
