Robert P. Haney, 63, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away on Monday, January 26, 2015, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg. He was born in Ashland, KY on November 4, 1951 to Woodrow Wilson and Gladys M. Haney, Sr. He was a U.S. Veteran serving in the U.S. Army during Vietnam. For over 24, years, Bob worked as an inspector for Jeep and in his spare time enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a 32 Degree Mason formerly holding memberships in both the York and Scottish Rite, a former member of the Zenobia Shrine, and held memberships with the VFW Post 4906 and the Arthur Daly American Legion Post.
Bob is survived by his loving wife, Lynda; daughters, April, Charity and Paula Haney; son, Sean Haney; grandchildren, Cleveon, Beau, Andre, Peyton, Ashley, Austin, Zaire and Frankie and sisters, Mary Dickinson and Debbie Suttles. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Bud and Bill Haney and sisters, Donna Gillum and Dorothy Haney.
Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd, Oregon, on Friday, January 30, 2015 after 3 p.m. with the Funeral Service to begin at 7:00 p.m. Burial will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
