Robert J. (Bob) Grosjean Sr., 77, of Oregon, Ohio passed away on Thursday, March 15, 2012 at Mercy St. Charles Hospital surrounded by his family. He was born on May 4, 1934 to Fred and Evelyn M. (Cousino) Grosjean. Bob married Elaine (Cookie) Teachout on October 29, 1955 and was married for 56 years. Together they had 4 children, 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren, with the next great-grandchild due this summer. He served in the U.S. Army. Robert was employed at L.O.F. for 38 years until his retirement. He enjoyed making homemade wine and beer, gardening, fishing woodworking, hunting traveling and renovating homes. There was never a card party without him, and family and friends were his greatest enjoyment.
Robert is survived by his loving wife, Elaine; children, Robert (Janice) Grosjean Jr., Tamara Grosjean, Bill (Leslie) Grosjean, and Lisa (John) McNary; grandchildren, Andrea (Robert) Iman, Jenna (Fiance James Bomer) , Jake (Ashlee), Benjamin Grosjean, Jennifer, Nicholas, Elizabeth and Sarah Cameron; great-grandchildren, Lilly and Johnathan Iman; sisters, Betty (Florian/Bo) Schnee, Anna Belle DeHan and many nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; stepmother Evelyn P.; brothers, Raymond and Ronald Grosjean; bother-in-law William DeHan.

Friends may visit Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd. in Oregon, on Monday, March 19th from 3 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will begin on Tuesday at the funeral home at 9:15 a.m. and continue on with the funeral mass at St. Ignatius Catholic Church at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at St. Ignatius cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Ignatius Building fund or the American Diabetes Association.
