Robert C. Glass, Sr., 65, of Oregon, Ohio passed away on August 13, 2012 in Hospice of Northwest Ohio-Perrysburg Center. Robert was born on January 13, 1947 in Toledo, Ohio, the son of Leslie D. Glass and Edith J. (Wyant) Mallott. He married Dolores A. Sachs on February 17, 1968 in Monroe, Michigan. Robert was employed at Martin Marietta in Woodville, OH., retiring in 2010. He is a member of First St. John Lutheran Church in Toledo, OH. Robert enjoyed traveling and visiting State and National parks.
Robert is survived by his wife of 44 years, Dolores; children, Constance (Glenn) Duncan, Robert (Candi) Glass; grandchildren, Gage, Gavin, Ben, Scott and Sarah; sisters, Virginia Gladieux and Marjorie Counterman. He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 sisters and 4 brothers.
Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd. Oregon, Ohio on Wednesday, August 15, 2012 from 4-8 p.m. Services will be held at Restlawn Memorial Park on Thursday at 11 a.m. in the Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Toledo Metro parks or Ohio State Parks Legacy Foundation.
