Robert Edward Feyes

Robert Edward Feyes, age 85, of Amherst, OH, passed away surrounded by his family on Wednesday, May 15, 2024. He was born in Detroit, MI on July 10, 1938. One of his passions was photography and he was employed for many years as a photography salesman. He also taught photography at the Boys and Girls Club of Toledo. Robert was an avid fisherman and loved birdwatching. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Robert leaves behind his loving wife, Carol Feyes; his children, Robert J. Feyes, Michael D. (Amy) Feyes, and Jennifer (Kevin) Bertermann; his grandchildren, Shannon (Michael) Irick, Abigail Shirley, Emma Shirley, and Malena Shirley; his great-granddaughter, Claire Irick; and his brothers, Bruce Danyi, and Christopher (Kathy) Danyi. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Danyi, and his sister, Karen Hobson.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Sunday, May 19, 2024 from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. The funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Jerome Catholic Church, 300 Warner St., Walbridge, OH on Monday, May 20, 2024 at 1:30 p.m. with visitation one hour prior in the church narthex. Following the mass, Robert will be laid to rest at Lake Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions in his name may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
