Ricky A. Humes, 59, of Lake Township, passed away Monday, November 26, 2012 at St. Charles Mercy Medical Center. He was born in Kane, PA on November 20, 1953 to Charles B. and Mary A. (Kulka) Humes and was a 1972 graduate of Lake High School. Ricky has been employed with CSX for 33 years, currently working as a track foreman. Ricky loved NASCAR, bowling and baseball.
He is survived by his wife, Debra B. (Ranes) Humes; children, Ricky B. (Brandy) Humes; Melissa M. (Jason) Eiden, Bryan Ramasocky (Mindy Taylor), Shelly Ramasocky (Nate Hunt), Sara Ramasocky (Matt Allen); grandchildren, Ricky II, Paige, Jordan, Elisia, Emily, Lizzie “Bug”, Michael, Mishell, Abby and David; brother, Danny (Janice)Humes; sister, Cyndee (Dan) Cecil; and aunt, Kathryn Hulings along with many dear nieces, nephews and cousins. Ricky was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents and special cousin, Keven “Hugo” Hulings.
A memorial gathering will be held at the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd, Oregon, Ohio, on Thursday, November 29, 2012 from 1-7 p.m. where a memorial service will begin at 7 p.m. Burial will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to ALS Association or Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
