Richard John Pisula

Richard J. Pisula, age 83, of Toledo, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, August 16, 2022 at Perrysburg Healthcare and Rehabilitation.  He was born on August 11, 1939 in Rossford, Ohio to John and Elizabeth Pisula.  Richard was a 1957 graduate of Central Catholic High School.  He worked as a pipefitter for Local #50, with 62 years of service.  Richard was a member of St. Ignatius Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus, and an auxiliary member of V.F.W. #2510.  In his spare time, Richard enjoyed fishing, golfing, bowling, watching Detroit Tigers baseball, and spending time with his grandchildren.

Richard is survived by his daughters, Lisa (Tony) Byrd, Pamela Londergan, and Teresa Pisula; grandchildren, Nicholas Byrd, Isabella Londergan, and Ian Londergan; siblings, Robert (Joan) Pisula, Jeannie Cutcher, and Donald (Mary) Pisula.  He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Isabella; 2 infant children, and his brothers, Thomas, and John Jr. “Jack” Pisula.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Sunday, August 21, 2022, from 2:00-8:00 p.m. The funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday at St. Ignatius Catholic Church, 212 N. Stadium Rd in Oregon where the family will receive guests after 9:00 a.m.  Burial will follow at St. Ignatius Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
