Richard L. Kreager, 77, of Martin, Ohio passed away on Thursday, December 31, 2015 at Bay Park Community Hospital. He was born in Martin, Ohio in 1938 to Edward and Stella (Lowe) Kreager and was a 1956 graduate of Genoa High School. For over 30 years, Richard worked in the warehouse for Ace Hardware Distribution Center.
He was faithful in the Word of God and boldly shared the gospel with those he met. He loved God’s creation and enjoyed watching sunsets and working in the outdoors. He had a tireless work ethic and was always tinkering around the house.
He is survived by his loving wife, Nancy (Dinger) Kreager; son Bradley E. (Rebecca) Kreager; grandchildren, Cameron (Jennifer) Kreager, Benjamin Kreager and Brittni Kreager; great-granddaughter, Avery Kreager; sisters, Ellen Schulte, Lucille Gackstetter and Barbara (Dennis) Gadda along with many nieces and nephews. Richard was preceded in death by his parents; baby daughter; brothers, Walter and Edward Kreager and sister, Agnes York.
Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd, Oregon, on Saturday, January 2, 2016 from 9-10:30 a.m. with the Funeral Service to begin at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow at Clay Twp. Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Perrysburg Alliance Church or to the Cherry Street Mission.
