Richard D. Hinkle

Richard D. Hinkle, age 74, of Oregon, passed away at his home on Friday, June 11, 2021. Richard was born to Arthur and Phyllis Wooley (Carr) Hinkle on November 12, 1946 in Toledo.

Richard worked for Chrysler-Jeep for 30 years until his retirement in 2008. He was a huge fan of Ohio State and made sure you knew it. Richard was also a family man, and loved every moment he got to spend with them.

Richard is survived by his loving wife, Janet; daughter, Michelle; brothers, Douglas, Dana, and Bill; sisters, Debbie and Edith; son-in-law, Dan; mother-in-law, Hazel; step-mother, Lora; grandchildren, Emily, Randy, Jessica, Theresa, Audrey, and Adelaide; six great-grandchildren; and special nephew Tevin. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Phyllis; daughter, Melissa; and sisters, Theresa and Denise. He will be dearly missed.

Visitation will be held at Freck Funeral Chapel on Thursday, June 17, 2021 from 10-11 a.m., with the funeral service beginning at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at Lake Township Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, consider making a donation to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
