Richard Bryant Corado age 89 of Oregon, passed away at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center on Wednesday, February 8, 2022. Richard was born to Charles and Julia (Sweat) Corado on November 28, 1932 in Toledo, Ohio. He was a 1950 graduate of Macomber High School and went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in 1969 at the then Toledo University. Richard worked for Sun Oil Refinery for over 40 years as a Chemist retiring in the early 1990s. His friends called him “Punchy” a name he earned as Golden Gloves Boxer. He was a marathon runner until the age of 72 and he also enjoyed bowling. Richard was an artist and entered his paintings in the Fulton Co. Fair. He was a member of Eastminster Presbyterian Church where he formerly served as deacon, trustee, elder and building committee and the Paragon Masonic Lodge as a Master Mason. Richard was a Boy Scout Leader and the highlight of his life was his hunting, fishing, and camping trips with his son and grandsons.

Richard is survived by his loving wife of 70 years Nathalie; children Gail Corado, Darla (Albert) Gius, Kim (Suzanne) Corado, and Dianne (Jim) Harris; grandchildren Erin (Stephen), Kent, Edward (Emily), Daniel (Paige) , Cody (Alexandra), and Corey; great-grandchildren Jayden, Sherrie Lynn, Dominic, Sydney, Wesley, Maeve, Ophelia, and Elijah. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Shirley, brother Jack, and daughter-in-law Sherry Lynn.

A visitation will be held at Freck Funeral Chapel 1155 S. Wynn Rd. in Oregon on Thursday February 17, 2022 from 6 until 7:30 p.m. A Masonic service will be held at 7:30 p.m. in the chapel. A private memorial service will be held with inurnment at Lake Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions are appreciated to Eastminster Presbyterian Church or the charity of choice.
