Richard James Bails

Richard James Bails age 84, of Toledo, passed away Thursday, November 30, 2023, at Advanced Specialty Hospital. Richard was born December 26, 1938, and graduated from Woodward High School. He went on to serve our country in the U.S. Army in Germany. Richard worked as an over-the-road truck driver for many years as well as real estate property management. Richard enjoyed investing in stocks and playing the market.

Richard is survived by his children, Dawn (Irvin) Mettie, Richard James Bails Jr., Steven (Sue Bijarro) Bails, and Katie Bails; 12 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren; and nieces Sherry, Shawna, Ronda and Tina. He was preceded in death by his mother Patricia Joseph and brother Ronald Bails.
