Richard J. Anello, 66, of Toledo, passed away on, Saturday, July 27, 2013 at St Vincent’s Hospital. He was born in Toledo on January 13, 1947 to Paul and Irene (Greiner) Anello.
Richard worked as a bus driver for the Toledo Public School System for 15 years until retiring. He enjoyed Bingo, watching the Detroit Tigers, playing baseball and was known as a real people person.
He is survived by his sons, Christopher and Steven Anello; grandchildren, Kristie (Scott Bunce) Anello, Salina Anello and Matthew Anello; great-grandchildren, Jordan and Alaina Bunce; sister, Karen (Wade) Cox and brother, Kendall Anello. Richard was preceded in death by his parents.
A memorial gathering will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, August 3, 2013 at Grace Bible Baptist Church, 116 East Union St., Walbridge, OH. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the Memorial Fund for Richard at Grace Bible Baptist Church.
