Renee Doreen Phillips

Renee Doreen Phillips, age 64, passed away at her home on April 24, 2024. She was born on February 3, 1960 in Fostoria to Roy and Darlene (Valenti) Kennedy. Renee graduated Waite High School in 1978 and worked as a nurse’s aid for various nursing homes as well as a cashier for various gas stations. She was also a barmaid and was a member of the Northwood VFW Auxiliary. In her spare time, Renee loved to crochet, go shopping, play bingo, and shoot pool. She also loved card nights with her family and stayed late, making memories with her loved ones.

Renee is survived by her loving husband of nine years, Joseph “Joe” Phillips; her daughters, Traci Vicroy, Brandace Vicroy (Brandon), and Heidi (Adam) Pioterek; grandchildren, Cheyanne Butler, TJ Butler, and Miranda Barnes; great-grandchildren, Aaliyah and Levi; her siblings, Herb (Laura) Kennedy, Robert (Lisa) Kennedy, Daniel Kennedy, Lark Kennedy, Roy Kennedy; sister-in-law, Jenny Hill; brother-in-law, Jeff Hill; her close friend, Scott Cole; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister-in-law, Jane.
