Renee' Marie Harris

Renee’ Marie Harris passed away on December 18, 2021 at the age of 72.  She was born on July 8, 1949 to Robert and Georgia Root.  Renee’ was a graduate of Scott High School and married her love, Gary on September 26, 1969.  They lived happily together until he passed away in July 2013.  She was a stay-at-home mother and wife. Renee’ was an avid crocheter, making blankets and crafts for her children and grandchildren.  Embroidering and diamond painting became new hobbies over the last few years.  She loved to bake for the holidays, Thanksgiving was her favorite time of year.  Renee’ enjoyed listening to country music, especially Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton.  She was often found drinking coffee, morning, noon, and night.

She will be dearly missed by her family, but has been reunited with her husband, Gary and her parents. Renee’ is survived by her children, Anna Jones, Angie (Jock) Moell, Annette “Nina” (Joe) Engler, Bobby (Renauta) Harris, and April (Terry) Harris-Cummins; grandchildren, Christopher (Jodi) Schultz, Brandon (Rachel) Harris, Kristie Reece, Seth Michael (Brianna) Frank, Kenny Engler, RaeLynn Harris, Cecil Harris II, Austin Kerschner, Terry Cummins III, Georgialynn Cummins, Scott Moell, Mark Moell and Allen White; great-grandchildren, Brooklynn, Baylee, Matthew, Stella, Myles, and Emmari; and her faithful pet and companion, Penney Lynn.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Wednesday, December 29, 2021, from 2-8:00 p.m.  Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park.
