Randy Lewis Gillen Sr.

Randy Lewis Gillen Sr., age 71, of Oregon, Oh, passed away peacefully at home on May 20, 2024. Randy was born October 22, 1952, in Toledo to Richard Gillen and Lorna (Hahn) Hartford. Randy was a graduate of Clay High School in 1971 and went on to proudly serve in the United States Air Force. He retired from the City of Oregon as a foreman for the Street Department. Randy loved to play chess, pool, cards, and debate politics. He was a loving, caring father and family man. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his son Randy (Stefanie) Gillen Jr; daughter Amanda (Ramon) Ochoa Sr.; daughter Melissa Gillen; brothers: Dan (Dorothy) Gillen, Robin (Linda) Richey, Shane Richey, sister Lorna Michael, preceded in death by older brother Richard (Bette) Gillen. He is also survived by grandchildren: Gage, Jonah, Alexis, Noah, Owen, Brinley, Myles, Ramon Jr., Joseph, Marie, Jacob, and great-grandchildren: Kaylynn, Grayson, and Elijah.

Family and friends are invited to a memorial gathering and luncheon at Randy’s home: 6080 Colchester Road, Oregon, Oh, 43616, on Saturday, June 8, 2024, from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m.
