Ramiro Lombrana, 52, of Toledo, passed away at his home on Tuesday, August 27, 2013. He was born in Toledo on May 21, 1961 to Jesus and Rosa (Alonzo) Lombrana and was a 1975 graduate of Central Catholic High School. He received his degree in engineering from the University of Toledo. Ramiro, with his family, moved to PA and in 2011 he returned to the Toledo area and earlier this year joined Union Local 3 Bricklayer apprenticeship program.
Ramiro loved soccer, coaching and playing as a former member of Furia Azteca. He will be most remembered by his beautiful spirit and his passion for music: singing and playing his harmonica.
He is survived by his wife, Dawn; children, Tiera (fiancé Matt) and Ariana Lombrana; mother, Rosa; and siblings, Jesse (Delilah), Jose (Detra), Maria “Luchy”, Tony and Martin (Angel) Lombrana along with many nieces and nephews. Ramiro was preceded in death by his father, Jesus; brothers, Ray and David and sister, RoseMarie Becerra.
Family and friends may visit from 2-8 p.m. on Wednesday, September 4, 2013 in the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S Wynn Rd., Oregon, where the Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday evening. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Toledo. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made directly to the family to help with funeral expenses.
