Ramiro R. Garcia 67, of Toledo passed away Monday, September 24, 2012 at the Toledo Hospital. He was preceded in death by his parents, Andres and Concepcion (Ramos) Garcia.
Surviving him is his loving wife, Dorothy S. Garcia; children, Johnny (Darlene) Garcia, Oscar Garcia , Betty (Michael) Velez and Michael (Julie) Garcia; grandchildren who were raised as their children, Amador Pena, Estella (Joe) Pocs, Elizabeth Pena, Cynthia (Robert) Bock, Amanda Garcia and Justin Garcia; seventeen grandchildren and twenty-one great-grandchildren; brothers, Ruben (Gloria) Guerrero, Lorenzo (Josefina) Garcia, Cristobal (Linda) Garcia and Andres (Noelie) Garcia; and sisters, Aurora Garcia, San Juanita (Francisco) Yanez, Evangelina (Juan) Zuniga and Ma Elva (Santos) Limon along with many dear nieces and nephews.
Ramiro worked for over 28 years with City Auto Stamping and in his spare time he enjoyed spending time with family, collected Eagles, loved the Dallas Cowboys, his special brother, John Wayne and his cousin, Indian.
Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Friday, September 28, 2012 from 3 - 9 p.m. where the rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Funeral services will begin at 10:00 AM on Saturday in the funeral home. Burial will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park. Donations may be made directly to Johnny Garcia to help the family with funeral and burial expenses.
