Ralph Gross, 62, of Toledo, passed away Monday, December 24, 2012 at Ebeid Hospice in Sylvania. He was born August 1, 1950 to Aldo and Stella (Gross) Nudi and was a 1968 graduate of Bedford High School. He attended Toledo University. Ralph was a gifted entrepreneur and skilled carpenter who worked throughout Northwest Ohio up until his September cancer diagnosis. He owned and operated Deck Masters of Toledo for over 30 years. Ralph had a zest for life and worked hard to spend special moments and family vacations with his children, extended family and friends. He enjoyed camping, walking the beaches, making his own wine and listening to Jazz music.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Theresa Gross; his children, Sarah (Ralph) Nudi, Daniel, Anthony, Alexandra, and Michael Gross; grandchildren, Gabriel, Evangeline, Brent, Samuel and Alanzo Nudi; mother, Stella Nudi; brother, Marty (Elaine) Gross. He was a loving brother-in-law and uncle to the Earl Family. Ralph was preceded in death by his father, Aldo and brother, Jack Gross.
A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 29, 2012 at the Nederhouser Community Hall at Olander Park in Sylvania followed by a Celebration of Ralph’s Life. Burial will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to The Ralph M. Gross Family Education Fund c/o any Fifth Third Bank Location.
