PHYLLIS RUTH (STEPHAN) TOTH
Phyllis Ruth Toth, 79, of Toledo went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at the Hospice of Northwest Ohio Perrysburg Center. She was born on December 10, 1934 in Toledo, Ohio to John and Elizabeth (Liptak) Stephan. She was a loving wife to Edward A. Toth whom she married on July 29, 1961. Phyllis was a devoted mom who enjoyed cooking and baking Hungarian pastries and was a member of St. Ignatius Catholic Church.
She is survived by her son, Terrence Edward Toth and his wife, Cynthia of Curtice, Ohio; and two daughters, Therese M. Toth of Erie, Pennsylvania and Chrislyn J. Toth of Toledo. She is also survived by four grandchildren; Sarah, Daniel (Ashley), Jacob, and Kathryn; four great-grandchildren; Abigail, Elijah, Oliver, and Shiloh and siblings, Betty Lou, Andrew and John L. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 50 years, Ed and sister, Suzanne.
Friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass at St. Ignatius Catholic Church, 212 N. Stadium Rd. in Oregon on Friday, May 16, 2014, at 10 a.m. Inurnment will follow at St Ignatius Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of N.W. Ohio or to the charity of one's choice.
