Phillip A. Grivanos, 46, of Toledo, Ohio passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, December 7, 2011. He was born on April 28, 1965 in Toledo, Ohio to Perry and Rita Grivanos. Phillip was a 1984 graduate of Clay High School where he was inducted into the Football Hall of Fame. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially vacationing and camping. Phillip was a devoted husband and father who will be dearly missed. He was often found watching football, cheering for Michigan and the Minnesota Vikings.
Phillip is survived by his loving family, his wife of 15 years, Sue; daughters, Cori and Megan; parents, Perry and Rita Grivanos; sister, Kathy (Greg) Vermett; brothers, Perry Grivanos and Tim (Lauretta) Grivanos along with many nieces, nephews and great friends he made along the way.
Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Sunday, December 11, 2011 from 2 - 8 p.m. Funeral Services will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow at St. Ignatius Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to his family.
