Penny Lea Hudson

Penny Lea Hudson, age 62, of Oregon passed away Saturday April 18, 2020 at the Hospice of Northwest Ohio-Toledo. Penny was born to George and Vivian (Martin) Austin in Oregon, Ohio on September 25, 1957. She loved to craft and make things. Penny was an animal lover and currently has four shih tzu. Penny loved spending time with her friends and talking about God.

Penny is survived by her second husband, Robert Hudson; children, Jennifer (Salomon) Morquecho, Dawn (Chris) Norris and Ronald Bennett; grandchildren, MaRenna Morquecho, Marisa Morquecho, Jordan Mayer, Kayla Mayer and John Norris; great-grandson, Carlos Morquecho; nieces, Roxanne Austin, April Slover and Caroline Shephard. She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband, John R. Bennett, grandson, Joshua Norris, brother, George Austin, sister, Marge Hudson and nephew, Richard Hudson.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Wednesday, April 22, 2020 from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 1 p.m. The service will be live streamed on the Freck Funeral Chapel Facebook page for those unable to attend. Burial will follow at North Oregon Cemetery.
