Peggy June (Breeding) Colley born May 6, 1938 in West Virginia, passed away on September 3, 2016 surrounded by her loving family. Peggy married Lawson Colley in 1961 and was blessed with two step-children Donald (Mona) Colley and Brenda (Raymond) Randles. The family grew to include three more children Sheila Shadix, Billy Joe (Tina) Colley and Kellie Komives. They also raised a grandchild Tiffany (Garth) Runion as their own daughter.
Peggy and Lawson were blessed with 10 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. Peggy was devoted to her family, loved her grand babies and was happiest surrounded by family and food. She was an avid gardener and always had the most beautiful yard on Sharon Drive.
Peggy is preceded in death by her husband Lawson Colley; mother, Willie (Lucas) Breeding; father, Stewart Breeding; sisters, Hope Breeding and Ruth Breeding Bailey; brothers, Woodrow Blankenship, Bill Breeding and Orvel Breeding. She is survived by her brothers, Arthur Breeding (Gladys), Stuart Breeding (Lettie); sisters-in-law, Phyllis Blankenship and Rebecca Breeding; along with many nieces and nephews.
Peggy’s Family wants to send a special thank you to the Angels at Hospice of NWO and her amazing nurse Stephanie French for not only helping Peggy but also being there for her family. Our deepest heartfelt gratitude goes out to Cindy Miller-Perry for coming to help take care of Peggy with the utmost respect and love.
