Paula G Martinez

Paula G. Martinez, age 90, passed away on Saturday, April 30, 2022 at her daughter’s home in Caldwell, ID.  She was born in Villa De Juarez, Coahuila, Mexico on January 26, 1932 to Eusebio and Cevera Garza.  Paula worked in the laundry department at St. Charles Hospital for 27 years until she retired.  She also made and sold burritos with her husband, Manuel Sr. for many years.

Paula is survived by her children, Juanita (Rosalio) Bernal, Dora M. Pecina, Sylvia (Juan) Lopez, Lupe (Jose’) Castillo, Pauline Martinez, Manuel (Julie) Martinez, Jr. and Miguel (Maria) Saucedo; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great great-grandchildren and her sister, Victoria Gomez.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Manuel Sr. and her sister, Purificacion Guzman.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Monday, May 9, 2022 from 2-8 p.m. where the rosary will be recited at 7 p.m.  Funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at S.S. Peter and Paul Catholic Church where family will greet guests from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m.  Entombment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park.  Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
