Paul E. Wise Jr.

Paul Eugene Wise Jr. age 72, of Oregon passed away at Bay Park Community Hospital on Monday, January 24, 2022. Paul was born to Paul and Catherine (Crapsey) Wise Sr. on April 15, 1949 in Toledo, Ohio. He attended Woodward High School until he left to serve our country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Paul worked at Libbey Glass and then as a truck driver for Wonder Bread, for well over 30 years retiring in 2008. More than anything, he was a family man. Paul was the best father and grandfather there could be. He appreciated his cars. Through the years Paul was often working on, tinkering and showing cars. Paul passed his love for cars onto his son, grandsons and even a great-grandson.

Paul was preceded in death by both of his parents and his loving wife, Rose Mary “Lou” (Mikolajczyk), in 2019. He is survived by his daughter Paula (Joey) Barber; son Paul (Aricka) Wise III; 13 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; siblings, nieces, and nephews.

A visitation will be held at Freck Funeral Chapel on Thursday, January 27, 2022 from 10 a.m. until 12 noon. A funeral service will be held at 12 noon. Burial will follow in Lake Township Cemetery. Everyone in attendance will be expected to wear a mask.
