Patsy J. Carlo, 80, of Toledo, Ohio passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at the Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg. She was born on July 18, 1932 in Toledo to Miles and Effie Nusser. Patsy was a graduate of Waite High School. She married Pete Carlo on May 3, 1952 and together they raised 3 children. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend. Patsy enjoyed spending time with family and friends, shopping and playing Bunco with the girls. She will be dearly missed.
Patsy is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Pete; children: Peggy (Bryan) McCandlish and Jim Carlo; grandchildren: Spencer (Sarah) Carlo, Monte (Angie) Carlo, Amy (Jason) Sancrant, Brittany (Joe) Hernandez, Bryan (Deb) McCandlish, Jacey (Mike) Duffer, Stephanie Collins, Ashley (Freddy) Carlo and step-granddaughter, Heather Collins; 11 great-grandchildren and many dear friends and special cousin, Mary Coughlin and family. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Marty; grandchildren, Shannon and Aaron and her sister, Bessie Nusser.
Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd. Oregon, Ohio on Thursday (Today), August 2, 2012 from 2-8 p.m. Services will be held at the funeral home on Friday at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at St. Ignatius Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
