Patrick J. Robinson, Jr., 61, of Toledo passed away at his home on Monday, September 23, 2013. He was born in Zanesville, Ohio on November 24, 1951 to Patrick, Sr. and Catherine (Cottingham) Robinson and served our country during Vietnam in the U.S. Marines.
Pat was a Nuclear Powerhouse repairman, retiring from Davis-Besse in 1989. He continued working as a private contractor travelling various places seeking new adventures and a member of the LIUNA 741. While in Arizona, Pat was a member of the UA Local 469, and locally the IBEW Local 8 and Local 85.
Dubbed the “Old Guy” by many, he is survived by his loving wife, Pamela Struffolino-Robinson; sons, Jason (Vicki) Romstadt and Rick Robinson; daughter, Jessica (John) Young; his dearly loved grandchildren, Ashli, Josh, Kody, Madison and Jada; great-grandchildren, Nevaeh and Justin and sister, Cathy Robinson along with many dear nieces, nephews and K-9 companion Boxer, BeBe. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Charlie Robinson.
Family and friends may visit from 2-8 P.M. on Thursday, September 26, 2013 in the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S Wynn Rd., Oregon, where the funeral service will begin at 11:00 A.M. on Friday. Burial will be private. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the Toledo Area Humane Society.
