Patrick Engle

On September 17th, 2022, Patrick Engle passed at the age of 26. He is remembered with love and sadness by all that met him. From Toledo, to Los Angeles, and back to Oregon, he touched the lives of many, making friends everywhere, despite struggling with challenges few others could handle. He had a way of bringing smiles to the faces of those around him, and spoke to everyone without judgement. When home, he was often found snuggled with a cat and one of the many books that sparked his curiosity as he tried to solve the intricacies of life through the pursuit of thought and knowledge.

Patrick is survived by his parents, Patricia Trendel Engle and Robert Engle; his siblings: Tiffany Pepper Bronikowski, Maria Engle, John Engle, Joseph Engle, Robert Engle Jr, and Jennifer Castano; and his nieces: Chloe and Evalyn Pepper. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Louis and Diana Trendel, and Elmer and Betty Engle.

Family and friends may visit Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Friday, October 7, 2022, from 2:00-8:00 pm. The funeral mass will be held at 10:00 am Saturday at St. Stephen Catholic Church wherein the family will receive guests after 9:00 am. Burial will follow at Lake Twp. Cemetery.  Memorial contributions can by made to the family.
