Patricia J. Ward

Patricia J. Ward, 63, of Toledo passed away on September 26, 2024, at Wood County Hospital. She was born on September 23, 1961, to John and Margueritte (Kunz) Ward in San Francisco, CA. She was a 1978 graduate of Whitney High School and would go on to raise one daughter.

Patricia worked in accounts payable at CMC Group for five years, beginning in 2019. She was an avid music fan, appreciating all genres. In addition to music, Patricia was a dedicated trivia fan and enjoyed watching Jeopardy with her son -in-law. Cooking, baking, and traveling were some of her other passions. Patricia was a woman of strong Catholic faith. Above all, she loved her family, always giving her grandkids, nieces, and nephews affection and attention. She also was sure to extend this love and care to her extended family as well, spending time with them when she was able.

Left to Cherish Patricia’s memory are her daughter, Sarah (Jessie) Poe; grandkids Padme, Jessie (Lauryn) Poe Jr; great-grandchild, Everley; brother, John Ward; sisters, Sharon (John) Zeigler- Emry, Karen (Ron) Jones; niece, Jourdan Ward. She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters Melody and Sharon. Arrangements are being handled by Freck Funeral Chapel.

Patricia's family will be having a Celebration of Life to honor her memory at the Christ Dunberger Post 537 located at 4925 Pickle Rd, Oregon, OH 43616 from 3 p.m. - 8 p.m. on Friday, October 4, 2024.
