Patricia Sue Ryan

A life long resident of Oregon, Ohio, Patricia Sue Ryan, age 86, passed away on October 17, 2021 at the Manor at Perrysburg. She was born October 1, 1935 to James and Maybelle (Burdick) Rankin.

Patricia was always caring for others. She worked as a nursing assistant and also volunteered for many years at Mercy St Charles Hospital Emergency Center.

Some of the things that brought Patricia the most enjoyment were spending time with her family. She took a lot of pride in her children’s achievements. Patricia enjoyed camping, playing euchre and bingo. She had a great sense of humor and was quick-witted. She never lost her wit even in her declining years.

Patricia is survived by her children, Kim (Ken Risner) Santus, Linda (Charles) Veasey, Michael (Sue) Ryan, James Ryan, and Kellie (John) Goulet; step daughter Beverly (Victor) Hernandez; numerous grand, great and great-great grandchildren.

Patricia is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Edward T. Ryan; siblings Marqueritte, James jr. and Grant; son Timothy; step daughter Patricia; and grandchildren Christa and Christopher.

Visitation will be held at Freck Funeral Chapel in Oregon, Ohio on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 from 4 until 6 p.m. Private services for the family will be held at Toledo Memorial Park in the Chapel of  Chimes at 1 p.m. on Friday, October 22, 2021.
