Patricia L. Kennedy, 76, of Oregon, passed away Sunday, September 15, 2013 at the Genesis HealthCare, Perrysburg Center. She was born March 17, 1937 in Walbridge, OH to Fred and Ruth (Lefever) Dalton and was a graduate of Waite High School. She worked for the Luther Home of Mercy in Williston.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Tom Tomanacek and brothers, Morris, James and Richard. Pat is survived by her husband, Charles Kennedy; daughter, Patti (John) Schwab; grandson, Paul Tomanacek; sisters, Juanita Holman, Jo Reese, Doris Dunlap, Sandra Neefe and Susan Bynum; brothers, Fred, Jr. (Betty), Floyd (Catherine), Jerry, Tom (Donna) and William Dalton; sisters-in-law, Thrana (George) Walker and Dixie Nyitrai along with many nieces and nephews, best friend, Avon Watson and K-9 companion, King Charles Spaniel, Sophia.
In honoring Pat’s wishes, there will be no visitation and interment will be private. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the Alzheimer’s Association. The family wishes to thank the staff at the Genesis HealthCare, Perrysburg Center and Southern Care Hospice for their compassionate care shown to Pat. The arrangements were entrusted to Freck Funeral Chapel, Oregon.
