Patricia A. (Mccormick) Hanthorn

Patricia A. Hanthorn, 82, of Toledo passed away, Saturday, December 8, 2012 at Bethesda North Hospital in Cincinnati from complications from Heart Surgery. She was born April 28, 1930 in Toledo to Arthur and Mary (Beuscher) McCormick and was a graduate of Central Catholic High School. She served as former president of the VFW Women’s Auxiliary and was an active member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church. Pat loved spending her summers at Sunny’s Campground where she had been going for over 30 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Bill; sister, Mary and brother, Art. Pat is survived by her children, Mary Alice (Rick) Wilhelm, Ann Ross, Patty (Jeff)  Olinger and Arthur Hanthorn; 14 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; brothers, Tom, Ray (Pat) and Mike; and sisters, Peg and Helen (Ray).

Family and friends may visit on Tuesday, December 11, 2012 from 2-8 p.m. in the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd. Oregon, Ohio where the Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m.  Prayers will be recited in the funeral home at 9 a.m. on Wednesday followed by 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Good Shepherd Catholic Church. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park.  Memorial contributions may be made to No One Should Fight Alone c/o any Huntington National Bank location.
