Patricia C. Stange, 75, of Curtice passed away on Saturday, November 5, 2016 at Ebeid Hospice in Sylvania. She was born in Toledo on June 17, 1941 to Forrest and Marguerite (Leonard) Bunner and was a 1959 graduate of Central Catholic High School. She married Charles H. Stange on July 30, 1960 and together they co-founded and operated Aquaholic Too Charters. Affectionately known as “Bubbles”, Patricia had an infectious smile and a spirit that touched many lives. She loved everyone she met but above all she cherished time spent with family and friends. In her caring nature, Pat loved all animals and spending time outdoors: fishing, gardening and reading.
She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Charles; daughters: Kelly (Kevin) Quinn and Robin Stange Ter Doest; son, Scott (Lisa) Stange; grandchildren: Kerry, Katie and Rose Quinn; Christopher (Kara) and Brian TerDoest; Christina Stange and Christina Steele; great-grandchildren, Riley and Mason Ter Doest and Reeves Patrick Santa-Cruz who is on the way; siblings, Gerry (Joe) Finch, Tim (Bennett) Bunner, Molly (Ken) Kaminski, Susan Larkin (Roger Overby) and Mike (Rachael) Bunner; brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, Donald and Lois Stange and Debbie Bunner and many dear nieces and nephews. Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Forrest and Peg Bunner and brothers, Bill (Peg) Bunner and Jim Bunner.
A Memorial Gathering will be held on Friday, November 11, 2016 at the Freck Funeral Chapel from 2 – 7:00 p.m. where the Memorial Service will begin at 7:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or Ebeid Hospice.
