Patricia Blakeman

Patricia M. Blakeman, 73, of Walbridge, passed away, August 21, 2012. She was born July 22, 1939 in Holland, Ohio to William and Mary (Fleig) Haupricht.  Pat received her bachelor’s degree in 1961 from Mary Manse College. In 1968 she married Charles “Charlie” Blakeman and he preceded her in death in 2003. She was a teacher for eight years and a bookkeeper for over fifteen years with Newfax Company. She was a member of St. Jerome Catholic Church.

Patricia is survived by her sons, Christopher (Lu) and Matthew; daughters, Mary Taulbee, Marge (Chris) Babcock, Bonnie Blakeman, Marylyn (Steve) Ramdat and Deborah (Rex) Armstrong; grandchildren, Kristin, Heather, Erica, Stephanie, Kylee, Casey, Sam and Danielle; great-granddaughter, Sierra and brothers, Tom (Marlene) and Florian (Anna Mae) Haupricht.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie; 7 brothers, 4 sisters and grandson, Matthew Thomas Jr.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd. Oregon, Ohio on Sunday, August 26, 2012 from 2-8 p.m. where a prayer service will be held at 7 p.m.  Services will be held on Monday starting in the funeral home at 9 a.m. with prayers at 10:15 a.m. followed by the Resurrection Mass at 11 a.m. at St. Jerome Catholic Church. Burial will be private.  Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jerome Church.
