Pamela Sue Soncrant

Pamela Sue Soncrant, age 61, passed away in her home on the morning of November 26, 2022 after a lengthy illness. Pam was born in Toledo, Ohio on March 2, 1961 to Max and Julia Ann (Wonchala) Soncrant. Pam was a 1979 graduate of Waite High School. During her career, Pam worked at Foodtown, Riverside Hospital, and Luther Home of Mercy.

Pam will be remembered for her kind and loving soul with a heart of gold. She enjoyed baking and taking care of her family. As an example of her selflessness, Pam moved in to care for and take care of her mother until her passing in 2009. Pam enjoyed light crafting and made jewelry during her spare time The light of Pam’s life was her granddaughter, Hailey Rose. She has cared for and raised Hailey over the last 14 years before Pam’s passing. Every time she spoke about Hailey and her accomplishments, her eyes lit up and you could feel her love for Hailey coming through in those conversations.

Pam is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her beautiful granddaughter, Hailey Soncrant; her son, Clinton (Cassandra) Soncrant; her sister Marcia (Richard) Hovey; her longtime boyfriend, Harold Glander; her brother, Max Soncrant; and many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Saturday, December 3, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. A celebration of life will also be held at a later time. Memorial contributions in her name may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
