Pamela Marie Lester

Pamela Marie Lester, age 67, of Toledo, Ohio passed away on Thursday, November 28, 2024 at Mercy Health-St. Vincent Medical Center. She was born in Toledo, Ohio on August 17, 1957, to James and Janet (Nusbaum) Lester. Pamela attended Cardinal Stritch High School, graduating in 1975. She worked as a secretary for numerous schools throughout the years. She most recently worked as a nail tech at Crimson Renee Salon. Pamela’s passion was teaching young students through youth ministry. She led Youth Ministry groups for the East Toledo parishes for many years with her friend, Ray Kleeberger. Pamela loved sports with her favorite teams being the Houston Astros, the San Francisco 49ers, and the Ohio State Buckeyes. She will be missed by her family and friends. 

Pamela is survived by her sister, Merry (Jeffrey) Taylor; her nieces and nephews, Stephanie (Marshall) Thompson, Daniel (Evangeline) Taylor, Andrew (Heather) Taylor, Jessica (Brad) Vogelbacher; ten great-nieces and nephews; and her good friend, Ray Kleeberger. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Robert Lester. 

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Friday, December 6, 2024, from 4-8:00 p.m. with an evening service at 7:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 7, 2024 at St. Charles Borromeo 1842 Airport Hwy, Toledo, OH 43609 with the family to receive guests after 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Helping Hands of St. Louis.
