Norman L. Norris, 72, of Toledo, OH passed away on Saturday, May 30, 2015 at Mercy-St. Vincent Hospital. He was born January 13, 1943 in Toledo, OH to William and Addie Norris. Norman served in the U.S. Navy, during the Vietnam War. He was employed as a heavy equipment operator for Detroit Edison until his retirement. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, boating, motorcycles and collecting various things. He will be missed by all his life touched.
Norman was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his children, Kim Chernota and Rich Norris; grandchildren, James (Dawn) Norris, Randy (Jessica) Chernota and Amanda (Mike) Carroll; great-grandchildren, Jordan, Kayla, Gabriel, John, Dominic and Kinley; brother, Earl Norris; soulmate, Ruth Cox and K-9 companion, Heidi
