Nicole Lupe (Ramos) Soto, age 35, of Curtice, OH, passed away suddenly while attending the Jingle Ball Concert and was rushed to Detroit Receiving Hospital, Detroit, MI, where she passed on Tuesday, December 5, 2023. She was born in West Covina, CA and later grew up in Casa Grande, AZ until she moved to northwest Ohio and made her home in Curtice, OH where she thrived and made a home for herself and her sons. She was a vibrant member of the Al Szuch Live Bait Shop and lakeshore fishing community. Nicole courageously battled Lupus for over fifteen years. She was a determined, kind, loving and self-less person who made everyone feel at home and welcome. Nicole loved being on the water and had a special love for butterflies, sunflowers, and loved the Little Mermaid Ariel, but her greatest joy was her family and friends, especially her sons and her nieces and nephews, who affectionately called her Auntie Coco. Her wings were ready but our hearts were not.
Nicole leaves behind her sons, Mikey and Isaac; her mother, Kathy (Eddie); her father, Michael (Stella); her significant other, Walter; her siblings, Danielle (Steve), David, Krystina, and Krystal; her nieces and nephews, CJ, Kaden, Austin, Evan, and Ava; and her paternal grandparents, Eddie and Rosie; and many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Santos and Lupe, and her dear friend, Lisa Cook.
