Nicholas Adam Evans

Nicholas Adam Evans, 30, of Northwood passed away at home February 23, 2020. Nick was born on June 5, 1989 in Oregon, Ohio. He was a 2007 graduate of Clay High School. Nick worked as a welder. He loved his son more than anything in his life.  Nick was a huge Ohio sports fan; his teams were The Ohio State Buckeyes and the Cleveland Browns. He was an avid Xbox player.
Nick had a huge heart and loved his family.  His kindness to strangers and those less fortunate was to be admired.
Nicholas is survived by his wife, Holly Lanning; son, Sawyer Evans; parents, Michele (Winkle) and Michael Mackey, Gary and Ruth Evans; grandmother, Sharon Molnar; and Godmothers and special aunts, Kris (Paul) Edler and Vickey (Dan) Kine; uncle, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, William Winkle, Owen and Mary Evans, Norman and Joyce Mackey.
Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Thursday, February 27, 2020 from 2-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held from 5 until 6 p.m. Memorial contributions are appreciated to the Sawyer Evans Education Fund and can be made at any 5/3rd Bank Location.
