Nancy B. “Buddah” “Nanan” Powell, 73, of Toledo passed away Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg. She was born April 12, 1939 in Orange County, CA to Armond and Doris (Hore) Edge. She attended school in New York where she learned wallpapering which she made a career at. She also worked as a painter, in house cleaning and catering for both DeVilbiss Corp and Shankland Catering. She loved crocheting, gardening and animals. She adored her two cats and spending time on her aunt’s farm in WV.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Robin (Steve Harvey) Powell Hill; grandson, Robert John Hill; sisters, Joyce (Don) Wade, Linda (Al) Ravgiala and Patty (James) Christian and brother, Donnie (Laura) Edge. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert and brother, Eddie Edge.
In honoring Nancy’s wishes there will be no visitation or services. Memorials may be made in Nancy's honor to Hospice of Northwest Ohio. Arrangements are being handled by Freck Funeral Chapel.
