Nancy C. Nagel

Nancy Carol Nagel, age 90, of Oregon, OH passed away after a brief illness at Regency Hospital in Oregon on Monday, August 5, 2024. She was born in Oregon, OH on December 8, 1933 to William Frank and Helen Matilda (Jensen) Wolf. Nancy worked for Ohio Bell and later retired from St. Charles Mercy Hospital after 30 years as a PBX operator. She enjoyed bowling and researching Huntington’s disease after she lost one of her son’s to the disease. Nancy’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Nancy is survived by her children, Karen (Thomas), and James (Caroline); her grandchildren, Tammie (Chris), and PJ; her great-grandchildren, Samara, Constance Jean “CJ,” Malaki, Jacqeline, and Parker; and her siblings, William, Shirley, and Margaret; numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents her siblings, Charles, Frederick, Leonard, and Alice; her son, John and infant son.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel , 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Friday, August 9, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with the funeral service held at 7:00 p.m. Nancy will be laid to rest at Allen Township Cemetery in Williston, OH.
