Nancy (Fork-Fisher)
Nancy Luffy, 69, of Curtice, Ohio passed away on Saturday, January 12, 2013 at Mercy-St. Charles Hospital. She was born in Curtice, Ohio on April 23, 1943 to Joseph and Isabelle (Miller) Fork. Nancy had various jobs over the years including working at the Lutheran Home at Toledo with her mother, delivering the Toledo Blade with her loving husband and best friend, Howard Luffy and as a cook at Bay Park Hospital. Nancy also was the former owner of Luffy’s Last Chance-better known as the cardboard palace. She was a member of the C.C.Y.C. and enjoyed playing cards with her friends at the H.V.Y.C. She will be dearly missed.
Nancy was a wonderful mother to, Penny (David) Fisher Krupp, William (Melissa) Fisher Jr., Mike (Mary) Luffy and Howie (Karen) Luffy Jr.; grandmother to, Brandi (Victor) Myler, Samantha Widman, William (Ashlee) Fisher III, Seth Fisher, Adrienne Fisher, Brad Luffy, Kevin Luffy, Eric (Julie) Luffy, Erin (Chris) Luffy Livingston, David (Katie) Krupp Jr., Jesse Krupp and Brittany (Jeremy) Krupp and great-grandmother to, Zoie Myler, Maiya Encalado, Aeryanna and Gabriel Krupp, Aubrey and Alivia Luffy, Nathan and Jordan Livingston and two more on the way in May. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard; her parents and siblings, Robert, James, Anthony “Tony” and Franklin Fork.
Friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd. Oregon, Ohio on Wednesday, January 16, 2013 from 2-7 p.m. where services will be held at 7 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
